About the Funtional Fitness Section

Functional Fitness Workouts are designed specifically for the purpose of offering everyone effective ways to gain more strength, balance, body awareness, and coordination to handle a variety of daily life activities.  But that’s not all!  You’ll also develop a body that can perform when the demands are high.

Our Functional Fitness workouts are accompanied by articles that explain the necessity of developing an agile body with a strong cardiovascular system to handle stressful situations.

Functional Workouts

Functional Base - for those new to this type of training and conditioning.

Functional Stability - to build stability and core strength

Functional Dynamics - develops balance and coordination

Metabolic Circuits - these are four exercises done back-to-back (circuit style) with the last (4th) exercise done as a plyometric move (ballistic/bounce).

Because metabolic circuits are quick (yet challenging) and can be done in less than 15 minutes, you can do 1, 2, or all 3 of them in one day - separated throughout the day, e.g. one in the morning, one before lunch, and the last one before dinner.

Metabolic Chest, Shoulder, Triceps, Core

Metabolic Back, Shoulder, Biceps, Core

Metabolic Hips, Legs, Core
