About the Athletics & Sports Conditioning Section

Our Athletic & Sports Conditioning section is about safe and effective conditioning for those that participate in recreational as well as competitive activities.  We will feature levels in each athletic category so a beginner may benefit as well as a seasoned athlete.

Please read the articles posted along with the workouts in this section.  They are intended to give you expert advice and recommendations to go hand-in-hand with the workouts.

Consider that, “Sport is not Exercise.”  What this means is that required movements and forces placed upon the human body to be able to perform in any given sport has a greater demand than regular or weekend recreational activity (or play).

Therefore, the workouts in this section will be separated into workouts for athletics and workouts for sports.  The athletic workouts prepare you for the higher level of exercises and routines posted in our sports conditioning section.  Therefore, it would be best for those in non-competitive sports to start with the athletic workouts.
